Harford County Sheriff’s Office Joins Forces With Army In Hiring
Soldiers will have a pathway to employment in Harford County once their enlistment is up, thanks to a new partnership between the U.S. Army and the Harford County Sheriff’s Office. The two agencies signed a memorandum of understanding Monday that outlines the program.
Through the Army’s Partnership for Youth Success Program (PaYs), soldiers will be connected early in their enlistment with potential employers. When their enlistment is complete, the potential employer is notified of the soldier’s discharge and the soldier is guaranteed an opportunity to compete for a position with that employer.
