Description: The Computer Operator's position is responsible for the day-to-day operation of real-time transaction based wagering systems. An Operator will operate all computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines. This position will support the field with troubleshooting and problem resolution. Day Shift 8AM-6PM and NIGHT SHIFT : 6PM-8AM --- 4 Days per week - Job Functions: " Ability to work a non-standard shift and fill-in for shifts, as needed " Operate all computer systems in accordance with established schedules and quality guidelines " Strong attention to detail is required to ensure all aspects of the operational environment are maintained " Prioritize nightly processes to ensure performance of time critical schedule " Run all programs for production systems " Provide batch processing and tape backups " Ability to problem solve and gather data to troubleshoot and resolve critical system issues " Maintain accounting controls for tapes produced " Must be able to run web-based vendor systems for E-Commerce products " Log and report problems to management " Must be able to prioritize tasks as assigned
