Description: " Performs skilled work in the maintenance, repair, and restoration of buildings, offices, or other facilities. " Performs rough and finished carpentry. " Installs pre-hung, slab, wood-framed, and metal doors and window frames. " Repairs doors, finish hardware, and locks. " Installs new flooring including; wood, linoleum, carpet, and tile. " Performs bench carpentry using shop equipment and power tools such as drills, saws, sanders, planers, air nailers, routers, and radial arm saws. " Performs drywall work and patches damaged wall surfaces " Work may involve sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, squatting, twisting, climbing, and lifting 50 pounds or more for long distances. Work may also require the ability to travel to different sites and locations. Work requires the ability to climb ladders to access rooftop equipment. " Moving and delivering equipment, boxes and office furniture as needed from Waterloo Barrack to the Maryland State Police Headquarters Complex.
